Flawless skin always starts with the perfect preparation. I am a huge fan of primers and I can honestly say I don’t like the way my makeup looks or feels without them. I have three primers that I consistently use depending on my skins needs at the time. For an overall good old classic primer, you just can’t get better than the original formula Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, $36 at Sephora. It is my basic everyday primer when my skin is in check. It does a great job of filling in my fine lines a wrinkles and helps keep my makeup looking fresh for hours. It is a silicone base and I have extremely sensitive skin and have never had a reaction to this formula. I apply this primer after I have let my moisturizer set in for at least ten minutes. Once I apply the primer, I make sure to wait a few minutes before applying my foundation. In my opinion, the primer seems to react better to my D&G cream foundation if I let it set for a minute.
