One of my favorite looks in makeup right now is a super dark lip paired with a light eye. I remember years ago when Chanel introduced a color called Vamp. It instantly became a cult favorite. Well, Milani has nailed this lipstick in a color called Black Cherry, and it certainly reminds me of Vamp. What I love about this Milani lipstick, is that even though it’s super bold and pigmented, it’s extremely moisturizing without looking overly shiny. I don’t know why, but most really dark lipsticks usually dry out my lips. But not this one, and it stays put for hours! I started with my favorite clear lip liner by Make Up For Ever and then precisely applied my lipstick. I love how this color complements my paler skin tone during the Winter months. I usually pair my dark, rich lips with a subtle and toned down, but slightly reflective eye, like Milani’s Bella Eyes Gel Powder eye shadow in Bella Gold (As shown above). It’s the perfect slightly metallic eye for a bold lip! Be daring and give this look a try…you will surely turn a few heads- xx
