Happy Thanksgiving everyone! It has been one crazy year. I have so much to be thankful for and all of you are a big part of that. What started off as a really hard time in my life has turned in to an incredible journey. Almost a year to the day, I launched Must Love Lipstick. I had recently gone through a really bad breakup and needed a creative outlet to distract me. My blog started as a therapeutic journey, but quickly became one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever known. I have always loved makeup and have been obsessed with skincare from a very young age. I’ve been a very visual and artistic person as well, so it was no surprise I fell in love with makeup at a very young age. The art of transforming myself was liberating beyond belief. This year has been the best year of my life. As much heartache and the enormous mountains I had to climb to get back to a really healthy place emotionally, I can honestly say, life is amazing. This blog started as a creative outlet and has now become my life. I am truly excited for you to join me on the next chapter of my life and share all that is in store. I will tell you without a doubt, there is truth behind the saying, “What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.” I honestly never thought I would recover from the betrayal and devastation I felt after my unexpected breakup…but everything happens for a reason and I’m truly blessed and grateful for where I am today.
