The Golden Looks of Summer

Want the golden look of summer? I have some tips that will help you keep that summer glow all year long. From the perfect self tanner, bronzer and metallic bronze lipstick, you will surely shine brighter than an Oscar statue! Let’s first start with perfectly bronzed skin. Xen Tan Dark Tanning lotion, $40 at Nordstrom.com, is one of my basic staples year round. It is the best self tanner out there and is the next best thing to a real tan. I use this self tanner from head to toe and it’s absolutely perfect! I apply my makeup as usual and lightly dust my Sonia Kashuk bronzer in Goddess, $12.99 at Target.com, across the bridge of my nose and temples. This is without a doubt one of my favorite bronzers on the planet. It has a nice subtle sheen that makes your skin look like it’s glowing. To top off the perfect summer look I applied one of my favorite Dolce and Gabbana’s passion Duo Gloss Fusion Lipstick in Dazzle, $36 at dolcegabbana.com. I truly adore these lipsticks because the are super moisturizing but are highly pigmented. This picture definitely does not do it justice. But trust me, you will love this color. A smokey, metallic eye, pairs perfectly with this golden glistening lip color. With this look, you are sure to GLOW from head to toe!

GlyDerm Gly Masque 3%

I’m a huge fan of At Home facial treatments. I have masks for every skincare problem that exists. From brightening, oxygen, and of course hydrating, applying one of my beloved masks not only helps me relax and unwind at the end of my long hectic days, it allows my skin to be rejuvenated. So in honor of National Relaxation Day (yes, this does exist!) I thought this would be the perfect day to review a product that definitely helps me relax. I was recently sent a mask from GlyDerm called the Gly Masque 3%, $37.50 at Lovelyskin.com. I love the thickness of this mask. It somewhat resembles a clay mask with it’s texture and consistency. From the moment I put this mask on, my skin seemed to calm down. I am always hesitant to try any product with Glycolic acid because of my eczema, but I had absolutely no issues what so ever. What I was left with, was beautiful, radiant skin! I have become a huge fan of the GlyDerm line and their cleanser is one of the products I can’t live without. Trust me, when you try this mask, you are going to want to incorporate it into your routine for the rest of your life! Thanks GlyDerm, I’ve of course fallen in LOVE again-

The Perfect Fall Look I’m Madly IN LOVE With

With Fall just around the corner, there was a sure sign on the runways this season as to what is going to be Fall’s favorite hue. Deep, dark, burgundy nails and lips were seen everywhere. The key to pairing such a dark, rich lip is to go light on the eye area. I love the look of a slightly metallic shadow rimming the entire eye area. It definitely makes your eyes pop, especially if you have light eyes like myself. I am absolutely obsessed with Star Powder in Bronze Khaki by Make Up For Ever, $20 at Sephora.com. It has the perfect amount of bronze to give you an intense metallic smokey look. It is easy to blend and stays put for hours. I paired this sultry eye with one of my favorite rich Classic Cream Lipsticks by Dolce & Gabbana called Dahlia, $33 at Saks.com, but be warned, this color is not for the faint of heart or anyone wanting to fly under the radar. This color is so dark and intense you must truly wear it with confidence. Believe me, it is one of those colors that is sure to turn heads. Prior to applying my lipstick, I lined my lips with the Dolce & Gabbana Precision Lip Liner in Dahlia, $30 at Saks.com. This creates the perfect lip with major staying power. Let’s just say my constant quest for concealers that conceal my late nights has finally come to an end! I am completely in LOVE with my latest find. I was out of concealer and walked across the street to my local Walgreens. My Walgreen store happens to carry an amazing line of high end cosmetics. I had heard a lot of great things about theBalm line and had remembered reading great reviews about the concealer specifically. I love when concealers are highly pigmented enough to actually hide your late night evidence! I bought the timeBalm concealer in light/medium for $18 at Walgreens, and the color is a perfect match for my skin tone. I adore the texture of this concealer and it’s packed with anti-aging ingredients like vitamin A, C, and E. It is extra creamy and does not settle in my fine lines and stays looking fresh all day (& night). It’s also great at covering my blemishes. If I was stranded on a desert island and only allowed one item, it would without a doubt be this concealer! It immediately made me look as if I had a few more hours of sleep…who doesn’t love that?

So this is going to be my third review on my new favorite skincare line Swissclinical. As you all know I have extremely sensitive skin. I’m constantly worried when trying new products because I never know if it is going to cause my eczema to flair. I will say without a doubt this skincare line is beyond amazing! I have been an avid user of serums for years now. As I’ve aged, my skin concerns have changed. I definitely look for products that brighten, correct and tone my skin. What I love about this serum is the ingredients are 100% of natural origin. It does not contain allergens and it’s fragrance free. I have absolutely no adverse reactions to this serum at all. This serum contains one of the anti- aging powerhouses, Pycnogenol. It also contains white tea, sodium hyaluronates and peptides that correct and prevent wrinkles. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my fine lines and also the hydration of my skin. I apply the Intense Serum, $100 at swissclinicalusa.com, both morning and night under my face cream.
