Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Brown(out)

After trying my first Marc Jacobs cosmetics product, all I can say is my bank account is going to plummet! I have walked past theMarc Jacobs display numerous times over the past few months at Sephora. All of the bright colors and packaging always catch my eye. Even after pining over the gorgeous collection, I had yet to break down and go for it. On my latest trip to Sephora, I had the opportunity to redeem some of my Beauty Insider points for thisMarc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Brown(out). I literally squealed with excitement when I saw they were offering this as one of the perks. I immediately went home and tried it on. The texture is super creamy but also highly pigmented. It is also waterproof which means no running or smearing. Since this eyeliner is gel based, it’s a breeze to apply without tugging or pulling. This beautiful brown color also had a bit of a shimmer to it. It is the perfect color to complement my green eyes and also pairs well with my signature red lips! I can’t wait to try more products form the Marc Jacobs collection. I think this might just be the start of a beautiful friendship-Thank you Marc! xx

Who knew there was aBright Pink Lipstick Day? But count me in! In honor of raising awareness for women’s health, we will adorn our favorite pink lipsticks and support the cause. Pictured below are four of my favorite pink hues. L-R CovergirlColorlicious Glossy in Fruitylicious. One of my all time favorites, Wet n Wild’s lipstick in Cherry Picking. Next is Dolce & Gabbana‘s Passion Duo Lipstick in Delight and last but not least, the boldest and brightest of the bunch, a matte lipstick by NYX in Shocking Pink. From subtle to vibrant, you are sure to turn heads in one of these pink shades. Go ahead and pucker up! xx

NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil

Long gone are the days of thin, over plucked brows. BOLD brows are the only way to go. The key to wearing a bold brow with confidence, is finding the perfect brow pencil to enhance the shape of your brows and fill in any sparse areas. I normally use a brow pencil by Dolce & Gabbana, but when I recently ran out and wanted to save a few bucks, I picked up thisRetractable Brow Pencil by NYX in Dark Brown for just $4.99 at CVS.
I truly LOVE this pencil. The color matches my hair color perfectly and the consistency is smooth and almost waxy to hold the hairs in place. I love how bold brows really enhance your eyes. The key to wearing such a bold brow is all about the shape. I have always had super big brows, but like everyone else, plucked them beyond belief years ago when thin brows were in. I have been letting my brows go in for years now and over the past year I barely pluck them at all. I am absolutely obsessed with this look and think it is perfect for fall. So ladies, put down your tweezers andembrace your BOLD and beautiful brows!

Goodbye Summer…HELLO FALL!

As Summer comes to an end, I’m looking forward to switching gears and pulling out my favorite fall colors. From clothes, to makeup and accessories, Fall is all about rich, deep hues. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore Summer, but I’m welcoming the cooler weather. You can transition your favorite summer looks into Fall by mixing them will your rich Fall looks. Often times I mix two colors of lipstick together to get the perfect color I’m looking for. Or you can pair your sultry, smokey Fall eyes, with your pale coral lips. There are no rules, simply be yourself and own it! One tip to remember is, even though the weather is getting cooler, it is still extremely important to use sunblock year round. Your skin will thank you years down the road-

Ombre Lips

I have so many lipsticks and sometimes I just want to switch things up. I decided to take two of my favorite boldest and brightest colors and wear them both. I first started by lining my lips with my MUF universal clear lip liner and then took my lip brush and applied one of my favorite red lipsticks by Dolce & Gabbana in Incognito, $36 at Saks.com, on the outer part of my lip. Then I took my NYX Matte Lipstick in Shocking Pink, $6 at CVS.com and applied it in the center of both my upper and lower lip. The two colors blend together beautifully. There are so many different color combos you can try to achieve this look…the possibilities are endless!
