Dermalogica Skinperfect Primer

Beautiful makeup starts with perfectly hydrated and prepped skin. I’m constantly trying new products. Of course I have my favorites but I was so impressed with Dermalogica’s Skinperfect Primer, $48 at Ulta.com that I almost instantly wanted to review it. I have been wearing this for a few weeks now and all I can say is WOW. This primer has a slight tint to it but it goes on completely transparent and it also contains an SPF 30, which I love. We all know how much damage those UV rays can cause and any amount of protection we can get is a huge plus. Dermalogica Skinperfect Primer leaves my skin line free for hours and also keeps it perfectly hydrated. It has a subtle lavender fragrance that dissipates quickly after applying it but it immediately brings back memories of having a relaxing facial. This primer is PURE PERFECTION.

AmorePacific Moisture Bound Vitalizing Mask

The Moisture Bound Vitalizing Mask by AmorePacific, $60 at Nordstrom, is one of my favorite masks of all time. At least three times a week I either sleep in this mask or I put it on first thing in the morning and relax while having my coffee. As we age, our skin loses it’s luster. This mask contains an exclusive 5-Hydra Complex with stabilized Bamboo Sap, nine Essential Amino Acids and select minerals and the Aqua Sponge Complex to aid in the vitalizing process. It is extremely effective at replenishing the vitamins and nutrients as you sleep. So what does this all really mean? You wake up in the morning with super hydrated and glowing skin. Yes! You will look like you’ve had your full eight hours of sleep, even if you’ve only have five. Now that’s a beautiful way to start any day.

GlyDerm Intense C Serum PM

Beautiful makeup starts with beautiful, healthy skin. I have been an avid user of serums for at least fifteen years. Through the years, I have switched the types of serums I used based on my skins needs as I age. One of my favorite types of serums are C Serums. Serums are always applied to your skin first before moisturizers, eye creams, etc. because they have the ability to penetrate the deeper layers of our skin. I recently had the chance to try Intense C Serum PM by GlyDerm, $50 at Dermstore.com. From the moment I applied this to my skin, I fell in LOVE. What I adore about this formula is, even though I have extremely sensitive skin, I had no adverse reactions or irritation that I sometimes experience with other treatment serums. From the first night I used this, I woke up with beautiful, glowing and hydrated skin. Where GlyDerm’s C Serum differs from other brands I’ve used, is their patented QuSome technology. QuSomes encapsulate the L-ascorbic acid and enhances it’s ability to penetrate the skin at a deeper level. Glycolic acid smoothes and softens the skin, while the L-ascorbic acid promotes collagen synthesis. After I apply my serum, I always layer a rich moisturizer on top followed by my Caudalie Premier Cru eye cream. Well, enough about the technical stuff! The bottom line is this stuff works. We are never too young to start incorporating serums in to our skincare routine. One of the biggest myths is to treat problems once they arise. GlyDerm Gentle Face Cleanser

Beautiful makeup starts with good skin. One of the most important things you can do for yourself is ALWAYS washing your makeup off before you go to bed. Sleeping in your makeup is one of the worst things you can do for your skin. I usually only use foaming cleansers because I am a huge fan of my beloved Clarisonic, and for some reason, I just love the way a foam cleanser works with it. I recently had the chance to try this GlyDerm Gentle Cleanser, $26 at Dermstore.com and Dermatologist offices. I was literally blown away. This amazing cleanser took off every last bit of makeup, worked really well with my Clarisonic, and left me with glowing and hydrated skin. This gentle cleanser contains 0.2% glycolic acid but contains no soap or alkalis. It is so extremely gentle that you can use it twice a day. I have very sensitive and normally reactive skin and I have had no adverse reactions at all. The Glyderm line is also targeted at people that have problem skin and acne. So you can feel confident that this line will only improve your skin over time and not further aggrevate it. Gotta LOVE that!

Want a beautiful, glowing complexion? I do! I love, love, absolutely LOVE this mask. With super long days and not much sleep, my skin was screaming “Help Me!” You all know how I adore my masks. I have been using this Boscia Luminizing Black Mask, $34 at Sephora.com, for almost six months now. At different times of the year, or even sometimes within the same week, my skin has different needs. If you need a little pick-me-up or if your skin is lacking it’s usual luster, this is the mask for you. Yes, you might scare a few people in your household while wearing it, but what you are left with is beautifully glowing skin. You apply the mask in a generous layer and let dry for about 30 minutes. You then gently peel off the mask to reveal truly radiant skin. This mask contains powerful antioxidants that shrink pores, firm skin and reduce inflammation. What more could a girl ask for? Please don’t get me started! Need I say more?
