All I can say is I’m a lucky girl! I have the opportunity to try some of the best cosmetics and skincare products in the world. I’m sure by now, you all realize my complete love affair with all things Dolce & Gabbana. Well, it continues! With their recent launch of a skincare line, I’m am once again left utterly speechless. I do realize the Dolce & Gabbana line is rather pricey, but on the flip side, if I invest in my skin now, that means a lot of money saved in the future. What I adore about the Dolce & Gabbana Aurealux Cream, $129 for 1.6 ozs. @saksfifthavenue.com, is that it improves your skin on many levels. It helps to improve your skin tone, smooths your texture and helps contour. You can use this cream morning and night with beautiful results. This cream is also suitable for all skin types. I found it to be moisturizing, but I also religiously use my Swissclinical serum which has absolutely changed my skin ( & life). If you have the money to make an investment in your skin, these two products are WORTH IT! Oh, and please always wear sunscreen….it will save your skin.

Goodbye Summer…HELLO FALL!

As Summer comes to an end, I’m looking forward to switching gears and pulling out my favorite fall colors. From clothes, to makeup and accessories, Fall is all about rich, deep hues. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore Summer, but I’m welcoming the cooler weather. You can transition your favorite summer looks into Fall by mixing them will your rich Fall looks. Often times I mix two colors of lipstick together to get the perfect color I’m looking for. Or you can pair your sultry, smokey Fall eyes, with your pale coral lips. There are no rules, simply be yourself and own it! One tip to remember is, even though the weather is getting cooler, it is still extremely important to use sunblock year round. Retin-A & Obagi Nu-Derm Blender: The Powerhouse Combination

Not all skincare is created equal! There is still one product that dermatologists around the world agree is one of the best anti-aging creams to this day. Retin-A or it’s generic version known as Tretinoin, is one of the best prescription based products for rebuilding our collagen and smoothing the skins surface. Many people can’t tolerate Retin-A due to it’s harsh peeling action it has on the skin, but once I was introduced to the Obagi Nu-Derm line and specifically a product called Blender, I was finally able to use Retin-A without the painful side effects. You will definitely have a bit of a reaction to it for the first few weeks as your skin sheds it’s outer layers and it adjusts to the cream. You may also see your skin purge, meaning you may break out. This is just your skin reacting to the product and these side effects should go away soon. I use these products three times a week by blending them together in equal parts. It is very important that you completely wash your face in the morning and apply sunblock as your skin will be incredibly sensitive to the sun. You may also notice your skin feeling a bit drier the first month or so as well. Just make sure you layer a heavy duty moisturizer on your skin during the times when you’re not using these products. GlyDerm Hand & Body Lotion 10

Want perfectly smooth skin from head to toe? I’ve got the answer. I know when we think of aging, we are constantly focused on trying to prevent those pesky wrinkles on our face. But we definitely need to treat the rest of our skin in a way that will preserve it’s youthful appearance as well. Our skin is the body’s largest organ and on that note, I am an avid user of super hydrating moisturizers. Over the past couple of years, I’ve started to alternate my daily body cream with one that is a little more potent to help keep my skin looking young and smooth. The Golden Looks of Summer

Want the golden look of summer? I have some tips that will help you keep that summer glow all year long. From the perfect self tanner, bronzer and metallic bronze lipstick, you will surely shine brighter than an Oscar statue! Let’s first start with perfectly bronzed skin. Xen Tan Dark Tanning lotion, $40 at Nordstrom.com, is one of my basic staples year round. It is the best self tanner out there and is the next best thing to a real tan. I use this self tanner from head to toe and it’s absolutely perfect! I apply my makeup as usual and lightly dust my Sonia Kashuk bronzer in Goddess, $12.99 at Target.com, across the bridge of my nose and temples. This is without a doubt one of my favorite bronzers on the planet. It has a nice subtle sheen that makes your skin look like it’s glowing. To top off the perfect summer look I applied one of my favorite Dolce and Gabbana’s passion Duo Gloss Fusion Lipstick in Dazzle, $36 at dolcegabbana.com. I truly adore these lipsticks because the are super moisturizing but are highly pigmented. This picture definitely does not do it justice. But trust me, you will love this color. A smokey, metallic eye, pairs perfectly with this golden glistening lip color. With this look, you are sure to GLOW from head to toe!
