Let’s just say I’m obsessed with all things Dolce & Gabbana. I have tried almost every major brand of foundation and powder on the market. Being a girl that prefers to wear a full face of make-up, I have spent years trying to find the perfect combo. Through the years my skin and concerns have changed as well (i.e. wrinkles!) Dolce & Gabbana’s Perfect Finish Creamy Foundation ,$66 at select Saks Fifth Avenue stores and Sephora.com is everything you could ever want in a foundation and more. A little goes a long way. Even with it’s hefty price tag, this 1oz jar will last for months. I’m told this foundation works best without a primer, but I prefer to always use a primer because I have very dry skin. I use beige 78 and would normally be a NC-25 in MAC if that helps. There is quite a range of colors, 15 to be exact, so you shouldn’t have a problem finding a color that works for you. I always finish of my foundation with a light dusting of Dolce & Gabbana’s Perfect Finish Powder in Creamy 80, $59. The two products together create an airbrushed, somewhat dewy look. Perfect skin without that heavy foundation look. Dolce & Gabbana cosmetics are only sold at select Saks Fifth Avenue stores and Sephora.com. I suggest, if at all possible, visit Saks to find your perfect shade. If you are in the Los Angeles area, go see Russ at the Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills store. He’s the absolute best! He is such a pro he could probably even figure out your perfect shade over the phone.
