Wet n Wild Fergie Collection Eyeshadow in Metropolitan Nights

As I was shooting these pictures, I was reminded how much I actually ADORE a great smokey eye. This used to be my favorite every day look for years. Smokey, heavily lined and smudged eyes with a pale nude lip. I recently stumbled upon the Fergie CenterStage Collection Eyeshadow by Wet n Wild in Metropolitan Nights, $5.29 at Walgreens.com, while on a quick run to pick up my beloved Elnett hairspray. What first caught my eye was the shimmering metallic gold color, but as I reached for this little gem, I actually squealed with excitement. The other colors in this kit are amazing as well! I first applied the light cream color to my entire eyelid. Then I took the dark metallic charcoal and blended it across my lower lid. After lining the inner rim of my lash line with a black eyeliner, I took the same dark color and smudged around my entire eye. I then quickly dusted the lighter taupe across the lower part of my lids to soften the harsh edges. To complete my look, I of course had to put on my favorite pale lipstick by Dolce & Gabbana in Nude. If you have light eyes like I do, a smokey eye will really make your eyes pop. I was definitely loving the change. One of my favorite things about makeup is you can reinvent yourself 365 days a year. So today I’ll be a Rockstar-

HOLLYWOOD Beauty Tea Tree Oil

Okay, so I know you can all relate to this topic on which I’m about to embark…the dreaded pimple! Luckily I rarely get pimples, but once in a while I get one that basically just takes over! I have heard for years how great tea tree oil is for not only pimples but many other things as well. While on the hunt for a tea tree oil that wasn’t JUST tea tree oil since I heard that can be pretty harsh on sensitive skin, I came across a formula called Hollywood Beauty Tea Tree Oil. Let me tell you this little powerhouse simply stunned me! It’s a total bargain at just $5 and it didn’t just work on diminishing my pimple, it worked wonders on a rash I had, my eczema and a cut. It sped up the healing process and left not a trace of a scar or mark on my skin. What’s great about this tea tree oil is that it is a blend of ingredients so that it’s more gentle on the skin but still super powerful. I definitely think this is one of those products you should ALWAYS have on hand. After all, you never know when something might just pop up!

Dolce & Gabbana “The Primer” Sheer Radiance Make Up Base

Ladies, you’ve heard me say this before, beautiful make up starts with the perfect canvas. I’m a huge fan of primers and I have different ones to target different concerns. My concern lately has been a dull and lackluster Winter complexion. Of course I want something to address my fine lines and wrinkles, but I also wanted something to help my skin look like it’s glowing from within.

I have had a love affair with all things Dolce & Gabbana since day one! I have never met a product I didn’t like, well actually LOVE! This primer is another product of perfection. I love the texture of this primer. Although it doesn’t have the same texture as dimethicone based primers, it does a fantastic job at filling in those fine lines. THE PRIMER, is lightweight but powerful. It keeps my make up in place for 8 plus hours without the need for touchups. It gives my skin the most perfect luminous glow that takes years off my face. Yes, this Dolce & Gabbana primer is pricey at $65 for one ounce, but it is worth every penny and a little goes a long way. Dolce & Gabbana products are all super concentrated, so you definitely get more bang for your buck! Another reason why I’m such a fan of their skincare and cosmetic line. If you have one product to splurge on this season, it is THE PRIMER by Dolce & Gabbana…it might just change your life! Well, it will at least change your complexion-

Lancome Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector

Of course I’m like every other woman on the planet in regards to wanting to stop the aging process dead in it’s tracks! So, I’m constantly on the hunt for the latest and greatest skincare treatments. I have been an avid user of serums for years. I have also battled dry skin, so I have always liked the fact that I can layer a moisturizer over a targeted treatment serum to boost the moisture level in my skin. As I have gotten older, my skincare concerns have changed. I now want something not only for hydration, but also to help treat fine lines, discoloration and firm my skin.

On my latest quest for the fountain of youth, I kept reading rave reviews about the Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector by Lancome. I have used Lancome products in the past with great success. So it was no surprise that this serum blew me away. After the first application I noticed perfectly hydrated skin and my fine lines were virtually gone. Within three days, my pores were smaller, my skin was incredibly smooth and I still had very minimal lines. L’oreal Lock-It BOLD Control Hairspray

I’ve been a pretty loyal user of L’oreal Elnett for years, with the exception of a couple rare strays! Since I am that girl that uses a TON of hairspray, I go through my cans pretty darn fast. So I was hoping to find a good alternative to my favorite spray that wouldn’t break the bank. I happened to stumble in to the haircare department at my local Target store and noticed this L’oreal Lock-it Bold Control Hairspray for the bargain price of $3.99. Since I didn’t have a lot to lose, I thought, “How bad can this be?” After all, this hairspray is also made by L’oreal, the same company that makes my all too PERFECT Elnett. Well, all I can say is it was LOVE AT FIRST SPRAY. First and foremost, the scent is to die for. It has tremendous holding power without being stiff, you can brush through it without it leaving a residue and it keeps my curls in perfect voluminous form for hours on end. I’m so confident you’ll love this hairspray as much as I do, you might want to just go ahead and pick up TWO! I’m just saying-
