With Summer just around the corner, this next bargain find might just become a staple in your life like it is mine! I’m lucky enough to live on top of a Trader Joe’s (literally) which definitely makes my life so much easier at times. I love their ever changing assortment of skincare lately and I have quickly fallen in LOVE with their Honey Mango Shave Cream. I was a little skeptical at first because, as you all know, I have eczema and I have to be super careful with what I use on my sensitive skin. First and foremost, this stuff smells AMAZING! The consistency is definitely a cream, so if you are in to the foaming shave gels, this one’s not for you. But this cream is perfect for getting a clean, close shave. It’s also a bargain at just $3.49. So the next time you feel like baring it all, or just a little, reach for my favorite shave cream on the planet! I’m pretty sure you will fall in love too-

Day 4: L’Oreal Voluminous Miss Magna Rock Mascara

I’ll be super honest, I have never spent a ton of money on my mascaras. Of course I have used some AMAZING department store brands, but for me, I’m perfectly happy with the drugstore brands. I am absolutely IN LOVE with the new L’Oreal Voluminous Miss Magna Rock mascara in blackest black. I love the shape of the brush and the consistency of the mascara itself instantly plumps and lengthens my tiny lashes. I also love that it doesn’t flake what so ever during the day and is easy to remove with my favorite eye remover, coconut oil, at the end of the night! This mascara never irritates my sensitive eyes either. It is just pure perfection and I happened to snatch up this latest tube for just $4.99 on sale. L’Oreal also makes a waterproof version too that would be perfect for those beach or pool days. This mascara may just change your life in the blink of an eye! Or at least you a few bucks-

Day 3: Olay Total Effects Revitalizing Foam Cleanser

Do you want super clean skin? Duh! Who doesn’t? I am constantly switching cleansers, but I definitely have my favorites! When I search for cleansers I look for products that don’t dry out my skin, flair my eczema and actually have the POWER to remove my makeup! I also love cleansers that foam a bit. Since I’m an avid user of my Clarisonic, I like the foaming action. I have used a lot of high end ($30 and up) cleansers thinking they were better. But after years of “probably ” wasting tons of money, my dermatologist told me to use something that just gets the job done. Something that is gentle on my skin, but powerful enough to remove my makeup. She told me that since cleansers don’t actually sit on your skin for any significant amount of time, they are not really adding anything to your skincare routine in regards to repairing or treating your skin. It’s just a bunch of fluff! With that being said, one of my favorite drugstore finds is the OLAY Total Effects Revitalizing Foam Cleanser. It does an amazing job at removing a face full of makeup and never leaves my skin feeling dry or tight. It works beautifully with my Clarisonic and leaves my skin makeup free and super soft! Who doesn’t love that?

Day 2: Natural White 5 Minute Teeth Whitening

So what will a dollar get you these days? Super WHITE teeth! I promise…For years, I have loved Crest Whitestrips and for years, the price of these little superstars keep getting more and more expensive! Granted, they have vastly improved in the past 10 years, but are still a little pricey (but oh so worth it!) Well, I’m going to let you in on a little secret. You can get a great product at the Dollar Tree that whitens your teeth in a matter of days. Yep, you heard me correctly. It’s called Natural White 5 Minute Teeth Whitening and although it is not as nearly convenient as the little strips, it’s a breeze to use and really works. It makes my teeth super white after just one use. I always put the whitening gel in the tray right before I jump in the shower and since you are only supposed to leave it in for 5 minutes, this works out perfectly. Plus, I know I can avoid anyone seeing me look like I’m about to go into the boxing ring! With all of the expenses we have in life, isn’t it nice to know you can have a beautiful smile doesn’t cost you hundreds of dollars? So go ahead and flash those pearly whites!

My FAVORITE Drugstore Finds: 5 Days of Steals! Day 1: Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo

While I was showering this morning (yes, i often come up with my most brilliant ideas here!) I started thinking about all of the amazing products I use on a daily basis that don’t break the bank and are readily available at your local drugstore. So, I’ve decided to do a series of seven posts, one each day this week, of my favorite MUST HAVE bargain products. With that being said, here we go!

If you use tons of hair products day after day like I do, you probably find yourself every few months just feeling like your hair is lack luster and weighed down. I have been using Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo since I was in junior high! Ugh, yes, you do the math….It is one of those basic staples that I’m obsessed with. It thoroughly cleans your scalp and gets rid of any buildup you have from hairspray, mousse, dry shampoo or any other hair product that you use on a daily basis. What I love about this shampoo, is it leaves my hair and scalp squeaky clean. Every time I use this shampoo and then go back to my normal hair routine, each product in my hair arsenal works ten times better! My hair has more life and volume and it is a lot softer too. You can’t go wrong with this cult favorite. It may in fact just change your life…or at least your hair! Amen-
