Dolce & Gabbana Perfect Reveal Lift Foundation

Even though I have the opportunity to try tons of different brands and types of makeup, like everyone else, I of course still have my all time favorites! I was in complete panic mode when my beloved Dolce & Gabbana Creamy Foundation was nowhere to be found. I had heard rumors of it’s extreme delay, but was in complete shock when I actually couldn’t get my hands on even one bottle. I immediately called my favorite Dolce & Gabbana makeup artist Russ who works at Saks Fifth Avenue’s Beverly Hills store. He told me there was a new version of foundation out called The Lift Foundation that had been getting great reviews. So I immediately picked up a bottle and have been in LOVE ever since. Yes, the consistency is slightly different, but this formula is packed full of ingredients that keep your complexion perfectly moisturized and also helps keep those pesky fine lines at bay. This foundation is so spectacular that it actually improves your skin while you are wearing it. The coverage is definitely buildable to full coverage which it what I generally like for a night out on the town. I wear a color called Beige 78 that is comparable to MAC foundation in NC25. I realize I rave a little too much about Dolce & Gabbana’s line, but it is one of the BEST cosmetic lines out there. I also find, the products last way longer than expected because they are super pigmented and you only need a little bit. With the cold weather in full swing ( well maybe not here in L.A, as it’s 72 degress!) your skin will love you for providing the extra moisture…xx

Going for GOLD(sheep) this Holiday Season

As you all know, I normally just blog about makeup, but it has always been my intention to integrate fashion into it as well. I have always believed that makeup and fashion truly go hand in hand. It’s that time of the year again when everything seems to get a bit more GLAM. From makeup and nails, to clothing and jewelry, nothing says “I have arrived” like the perfect GOLD ensemble. On that note, I want to introduce you to my favorite leggings on the planet! They are made by a company called GOLDSHEEP. I know you will fall as MADLY in LOVE with these as I have, and I have a hunch, that once the word is out, you won’t be able to get your hands on these leggings by GOLDSHEEP fast enough! What truly makes these leggings different is the images that each pair adorn. They are also thick, fit perfectly and make your rear end look perfect! ( I’m just being honest). The pair I’m wearing above is called Liquid GOLD. So to stick with the theme, I paired my gold leggings with my new favorite eye shadow by Milani in Bella Gold. I wet my applicator brush before applying this shadow around the entire rim of my eyes. It is so bold that it definitely makes a statement but it’s also perfect to wear during the day as well. This gold shadow goes perfectly with the bright bold red lipstick that you so often see me wearing. Now back to the leggings… I am definitely not the sporty type of girl. So for me, what makes these leggings different, is that you can dress them up or down. I often pair mine with my favorite leather jacket and a pair of ankle booties. I am completely obsessed with the Scottie Dog Plaid pair I am wearing below and you can easily see why. I wore them out the other day and could barely take two steps without someone wanting to know where they could buy these. I’ve even had people offer to buy them right off my legs! The silver pair below called Stix and Snow is actually an image of snow on tree branches. One word…BRILLIANT! I adore the ice blue and silver tones that basically goes with everything. At first glance they just look like a super cool pattern but when you look a little closer you see the full detail and all it’s beauty. Trust me when I say these would make the perfect gift for any woman on your list, but you should buy yourself a pair immediately! They are a statement you’ll definitely want to make-

Wet n’ Wild MegaLast Lipstick in Cherry Bomb

I’ll keep this post short and sweet. I have reviewed these MegaLast lipsticks by Wet n’ Wild numerous times before. The colors are super pigmented and they last for hours. The best part about these is they are an amazing bargain at $1.99! So basically for less than the price of a latte, you can have amazing “look at me” lips. I have these lipsticks in just about every color and Cherry Bomb is a rich burgundy that just screams glam. One of the reasons I’m so obsessed with lipstick, is no matter what my mood, or if I’m having a day where I’m feeling tired, a bold lipstick definitely livens up my complexion. You are never fully dressed without your LIPSTICK!

KISS Design Perfection

I LOVE the look of all of those great geometric patterns on nails that I’m constantly seeing all over the pages of fashion magazines. But, if you’re like me and in no position to spend $80 and up for a manicure, I’ve found a way to achieve that same salon look for just a few dollars! KISS has come out with these stickers called Design Perfection that you place on your nails as a sort of template. What I love about this idea, is that you no longer have to try and have a perfectly steady hand and freehand the pattern you want on your nails. The key to getting the perfect salon look, is making sure your base coat is completely dry before applying the contrasting color. I first started with my favorite Dolce and Gabbana polish in Pure Nude and then paired it with my Wet n Wild black creme polish as the accent color. As we speak, I have been rocking this manicure for eight days and it’s just now starting to chip. I believe the key to a long lasting manicure is applying a top coat like Out The Door, which is my absolute favorite. Overall, I LOVE these decals. It’s a brilliant product that allows us girls the ability to have a fabulous manicure even if we can’t afford spend hundreds of dollars at the salon. Thanks KISS!

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara

Let me tell you, as we age not only do we lose the hair on our head, it has also become apparent that my eyelashes have lost their fullness too! Sigh. You all know my obsession with false lashes, and my lack of volume is the reason why. Maybe I can attribute some of the loss due to wearing false lashes themselves, because removing them can sometimes remove some of your real lashes if you’re not careful. So I’ve been on a mission to repair my skimpy lashes. I have had great success with another Rimmel lash accelerating mascara in the past, so I squealed with excitement when I stumbled across this version called Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara. I love the fact that it is an Extreme Black mascara that is also stimulating the growth of lashes and providing you with that super rich black color at the same time. I can without a doubt say this stuff works! I’ve been a fan of Rimmel mascaras for years, and this one is just as amazing as the rest. I’m happy to say, I no longer need to wear my falsies on a daily basis (although I love having super bold lashes even if I’m just running errands!) All I can say is Rimmel has hit another home run. Definitely give this a try if your lashes have lost their luster. You’ll be batting those lashes with confidence in no time flat.
