COVERGIRL Colorlicious Gloss in Fruitylicious

In honor of National Lipstick Day I’d like to pay tribute to the perfect pink pout. This might actually be my new favorite holiday! I have not tried nearly enough COVERGIRL products, but as I was browsing the makeup aisle at Target the other day, I saw the most vibrant shade of pink gloss. I just knew I had to have it. It is from their new Colorlicious line. The color I’m wearing is called Fruitylicious and it was only $5.99 at my local Target store. I found the color to be slightly more muted than what the clear tube revealed, but still a great color. I like to layer my glosses over a lipstick anyway to ensure the color stays vibrant for hours. This gloss has a subtle vanilla scent and is not tacky or sticky. Overall, it was a great drugstore find that truly brightened my day..and my lips! xx

Swissclinical Antioxidant Day Cream

I have been obsessed with makeup from a very young age, but my mother taught me from the moment I started wearing any sort of makeup, the first step was taking care of my skin. I remember in the seventh grade she took us to Macy’s and got us started on a Clinique skincare routine. She told us that we had to first take care of our skin in order for us to be allowed to wear makeup. This included washing the makeup off before bed. I truly believe starting a skincare routine at such a young age and always applying sunblock has allowed me to age rather well. Yes, those pesky fine lines are starting to creep up, but this is where I talk about my miracle products. I recently reviewed and eye cream by a company called Swissclinical. The results I experienced were beyond exceptional. I have also been using the Swissclinical Antioxidant Day Cream for a few weeks now with amazing results as well. You all know I have been an avid user of Caudalie products for years. With my problems with an occassional flair of eczema, I’m often times hesitant to start a new skincare routine. Let me just say, this is the first skincare line in years that has impressed me as much as Caudalie. What I love about this cream is it contains NO chemicals…NONE! It is packed with plenty of anti aging ingredients like Pycnogenol, which the Japanese have been using for years orally to combat crows feet. It also contains White tea, Vitamins C and E which help prevent new wrinkles from forming, and it also contains Grape-seed oil and L-Arginine to smooth the skin. BITE Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duo

So my obsession with lipstick continues! I picked up another BITE Beauty lipstick the other day (one of my all time favorite lines of lipstick). What I love about this lipstick duo is the size, the fact that you get two lipstick shades, and it’s only $12! What? I picked up this little gem at Sephora in Palomino & Violet in the travel size section. I already own the full size version of Violet and I truly adore it’s rich, vibrant color. (Palomino shown above) I love that every lipstick in the Bite Beauty line is made with all natural ingredients, contains resveratrol which is a power house for anti aging benefits, and according to Bite, they are healthy enough to eat. All I have to say is my love affair with BITE Beauty continues…I just want to kiss someone! xx

Dolce & Gabbana The Illuminator Powder in Eva

Everyone always says the older you get you should really stay away from any kind of makeup that shimmers. I definitely do not agree. The key is to find the right product that illuminates your skin with subtle shimmer and reflective properties. As we age, our skin lacks that natural glow we had in our youth. The best way to liven up your complexion is with a highlighter or illuminator. After I apply my Dolce & Gabbana Powder, I always use my illuminator and apply it on the bridge of my nose, across my cheekbones, on my temples and believe or not, this powder is great at illuminating your under eye area. I learned this trick from my main man Russ at the Beverly Hills Saks Fifth Avenue store. This technique adds another dimension to your finished look. I would normally never put something with subtle shimmer under my eyes, but this just livens up the entire eye area. I absolutely adore my Dolce & Gabbana’s The Illuminator Powder in Eva, $50 at Saks Fifth Avenue. It has definitely become one of those products I can’t live without. It has the perfect amount of shimmer without making you look like a disco ball! This is another Dolce & Gabbana product that gets a glowing review.

Swissclinical Eye Contour Cream

You want to KISS those crows feet goodbye? I do! I’m such a lucky girl. I have the opportunity to try so many great products. Once in a while I am truly blown away. I was recently sent a few products by a company called Swissclinical. The day I received them I started using them. I will say, I have extremely sensitive eyes and I also have really dry skin. That combination alone usually spells trouble! From the moment I put this eye cream on, my wrinkles were immediately softened. I love the way this eye cream goes on under my makeup as well. This eye contour cream contains micro-algae that helps tighten the skin and helps reduce dark circles. Both of which I experienced. This cream is paraben free, and does not contain colorants, allergens or fragrance, which I love. It also contains pro-vitamin B5 to help strengthen the capillary walls. My eyes stay well hydrated all day long with this cream, which rarely happens. I love the texture of this eye cream and the bottle is actually quite large at 1 oz.
