Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash To Go

foam
With Summer just about in full swing, many of us our headed on vacation or at least a quick getaway for the holiday weekend. You have all heard me say I’m an avid user of my beloved Clarisonic. With that being said, since I own the original Clarisonic and not the Mia, I often times don’t want to cart it around when I’m traveling. Let’s just be honest, that would mean I would have to pack one less pair of shoes! SO, the next best thing I’ve found to the Clarisonic, is the Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash. The price varies depending on size. They often times have the travel sizes at Sephora, better yet, I have stayed at quite a few hotels that actually use the Bliss line as their premiere toiletry line for guests. What I love about this cleanser is it has tiny exfoliating beads in it. It removes all of my makeup and leaves my skin looking fresh. It never causes me to have that dry, tight feeling that a lot of foaming cleansers have either. This cleanser is pure HEAVEN! Remember, beautiful makeup starts with beautiful skin and you must remove your makeup at the end of every day…so you can start all over tomorrow! Isn’t life beautiful?

Smashbox Iconic Photo Finish Primer

Flawless skin always starts with the perfect preparation. I am a huge fan of primers and I can honestly say I don’t like the way my makeup looks or feels without them. I have three primers that I consistently use depending on my skins needs at the time. For an overall good old classic primer, you just can’t get better than the original formula Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, $36 at Sephora. It is my basic everyday primer when my skin is in check. It does a great job of filling in my fine lines a wrinkles and helps keep my makeup looking fresh for hours. It is a silicone base and I have extremely sensitive skin and have never had a reaction to this formula. I apply this primer after I have let my moisturizer set in for at least ten minutes. Once I apply the primer, I make sure to wait a few minutes before applying my foundation. In my opinion, the primer seems to react better to my D&G cream foundation if I let it set for a minute. Now go prime away! Trust me, you’ll notice a difference immediately-

Kiss Ever EZ Lashes

ez
Nothing makes your eyes stand out more that bold, lush lashes. Just as we lose our hair as we age we also lose our lashes. Yep, this aging thing kind of stinks! But, with age comes wisdom and that’s something to embrace. I don’t wear fake lashes every day, but for special occasions or a night on the town, they are an absolute must for me! I definitely have my favorites but of course being a beauty blogger, I’m constantly trying new things. I picked up these Kiss Ever EZ Lashes at CVS for just $3.99. I love the length of these lashes and I also love how natural they look. I always use Revlon’s lash glue because it is latex free and does not irritate my delicate skin. I always trim my strip lashes down because they are often too long, this also allows me to get two uses out of one pair. Let’s be honest, one of the best ways to grab a mans attention is batting your lashes. With these, you’ll definitely be demanding attention!

Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeliner in Black

black

I’m going to keep this post short and sweet. A good old basic black eyeliner is definitely part of my everyday beauty routine. With that being said, NOT all eyeliners are created equal. I want an eyeliner that is richly pigmented, has staying power, but also smudges easily if I want to do a smokey eye. When I ran out of my favorite black eyeliner by Lancome, I bolted across the street to my local Walgreens. Since I have been having such great luck with Wet n Wild lately, I thought I would give their Coloricon eyeliner in black a try. This eyeliner was just 99 cents, yes you heard me correctly, and is hands down one of the best eyeliners I have used. It goes on smoothly which means I don’t have to tug at my eyes when I’m applying it. It is also deeply pigmented but does not run or smudge throughout the day either. I would tell every woman that they should go out and buy this eyeliner today, it might just be the best dollar I’ve ever spent!

Sally Hershberger Supreme Lift Root Spray

Here we go again. I need it, I want it, I’ve gotta have it! BIG hair…please? It definitely takes some work to keep my locks looking big and voluminous for hours on end. Some days it’s just a straight up disaster. On most days, it’s an entire process. From the shampoo, the styling products, curling then setting in hot rollers. Who has time for that? Sally Hershberger makes an amazing line of hair care products that literally blow my mind every time I use them. The Supreme Lift Root Spray, $12.99 at CVS, can be described in just one word, WOW! I simply apply it at the root to my towel dried hair before I blow dry it. It adds instant lift at the scalp and like I’ve mentioned before about her other products, the scent is intoxicating. It kind of reminds me of going on a tropical vacation. Some days I just think to myself, men have no idea how much work it takes to be a woman. No wonder I think woman are the most amazing people on this planet. We not only have the ability to rule the world…we look great doing it! xo
